Getting to Duvha from Rusty Estate

Duvha is an Eskom coal-fired station south-east of eMalahleni, with six generating units. Planned outages and maintenance contracts there bring specialist teams to town throughout the year. Follow your site induction instructions for the correct gate.

From Kipling Street, drive south on Watermeyer Street, which becomes the R544 as you leave town. About 3.5 km along the R544, turn left onto the road to Duvha and continue east for about 6 km to the station. The trip is approximately 18 km and takes about 30 to 35 minutes. Allow extra time at shift change.
